This remarkable charity, Leonard Cheshire Disability, founded 60 years ago plays a vital part in addressing the problems faced by people with disabilities and is dedicated to creating a better future for everyone.

We can so often take for granted the basic freedoms we have in our life. Simple things like having a bath, inviting friends round for a meal, or the right to have privacy and our own space. These small and yet so important parts of our life are not always so available for disabled people.

Leonard Cheshire Disability will make this possible. Building brand new residential facilities in Ampthill will enable the Charity to continue to provide the high level of care that is so essential.

Providing these new facilities to the highest standards is entirely reliant on voluntary support, which is why money raised by the Appeal is so important.
